I have two copies on vinyl!
While everyone else was blasting Def Leppard in the high school parking lot, I was blasting Benson and Henry Mancini. Just because.
That one was one of the biggest selling jazz albums ever made at that time. As every song was just as good as the other one.

Oh, yeah. "Birdland" and "Teen Town"with Jaco Pastorious. One of the gods of the bass guitar. How the *heck* does he get a Fender bass to sound like that? A great inspiration in sound (not so much in life style).
"Palladium" and "A Remark You Made"- oh, man what a great album. Jaco at his finest. I didn't know he did the vocals on Birdland until recently.
