Listening to some Larry Hammett. Larry is (was?) a professor in the School of Music at OU. We used to go listen to him at Brothers, a local pub, on Friday nights.

I'm listening to my wife, talking on the phone to her sister who just bought her first house (at age 56), trying to explain the truism: NO ONE EVER makes just one trip to the hardware store to fix ANYthing.

My last home repair only took 3 trips. The first was what I thought I needed, the second was to get what I actually needed, and the third was to return what I didn't need.

After listening to the local college classical station the past two hours, I realize there's a lot of classical music that has really pathetic melodies .

This new record was released last week and I received my copy a few days ago. 1 or 2 of you might remember a post hard-core band from the late 90s called Small Brown Bike. This band is a couple of the same guys with a similar style.
