As the title says, what are you listening to, right now? Music? Audiobook? Significant Other?

I'm listening to a mostly-jazz playlist on Qobux, including Dave Grusin, Isao Tomita, Bela Fleck, Mike Portnoy, GRPP All-Star Big Band, etc.

It's Saturday morning, the rest of the family is out for the next several hours and I have house work to get done so I just cued up a stack of Death Metal and Grindcore. It helps keep me moving.

If you haven't already, try the new album by Trifecta. Although it's technically categorized as prog rock, to me it sounds much closer to Jazz fusion. Really good.

I‘m listening to synthetic rubber bouncing on wood. And the squeak of 9 year olds’s sneakers. My son’s rec league basketball tournament started at 9:30 this morning.

Bubble gum pop song from the 90's, it was playing in the grocery store 2 days ago and my brain insists on replaying it over and over.

Tried displacing it with something I like, re-listening to it, listening to cover versions, nothing's worked. I'll just have to wait it out...

Listen at your own risk:

Great song, great band. Their album Gran Turismo is brilliant.

Yeah, the Cardigans were a good band. They used to Black Sabbath covers.

I listened to Talking Heads Stop Making Sense on You Tube today. Now the songs are running around my brain. Listened to the Outlaws Green Grass and High Tides today too. My favorite station on SiriusXm is Jam On. Widespread Panic, Fish, Stringcheese Incident, Moe, Gov't Mule etc.
