Old House barrel matured imperial stout from Old House Vineyards, Culpeper, VA. I don't normally drink stout but I had to try it. Now I remember why I don't drink stout 
. As far as I know, Old House Vineyards is the only winery in Virginia that also has an in house distillery and brewery. Due to Virginia's archaic rules about hard alcohol, most places won't attempt a distillery. I was told by the owner that it took over a year to get approved to sell distilled spirits and the state of Virginia sets the price. In contrast, the brewery was built well after the distillery and took 2 weeks to get approved.
