I'm building a Dynacom Pluto clone and have a fin template but don't have the dimensional drawing. Would appreciate any info that is available.

    Thanks

Never heard of a kit by that name from Dynacom.
The ones that I'm aware of:

    Black Widow

    Python

    Scorpion

    Tarantula

    Anaconda

    SAAB

    Phoenix missile ?

Did you ever build the Dynacom Pluto? If so do you have a picture?

Justin I have been doing some Dynacom research lately. I forgot about the Komet was a 54mm kit useing a Acme molded fin can. Have you ever heard of the Dynacom Aggressor? It's a 5" X 105" kit in 75mm/98MMT. The info I am looking at shows no Anaconda. Thinking maybe the Aggressor was renamed Anaconda?

Aggressor was a Performance Rocketry kit if I recall correctly, not one of Eric's kits.

I acquired an old Dynacom Pluto kit a few years ago. In 2017 I launched it on a research O motor. Unfortunately, it catoed on the pad and burned to ashes. Here is a pre-launch pic.

Justin I did find the specs on the Dynacom Aggressor. It was 5"dia. A much shorter nose cone than the Anaconda. The cone was 3.23. Total length was 105"

Do you know if the Anaconda you sold to David is still around or did he destroy or loose it with much bigger motors than I flew in it? I flew it twice on M2400s and twice on L850s. I pretty sure it was built useing West epoxy.

It is, and its all connected. The booster is laying down already, look to the left of the chute/nose cone.

Seems David has logged at least 3 flights on the bird since it made its way from WI/IL to the West coast. :)

    Thank you for the share.

So it seems the 6 Plutos wade was a custom run, not a production kit.

    Impressive club newsletter too!

I can't recall the length of the Pluto. The Aggressor looks like it may match although I'm not sure if the fins are exactly the same and the nose cone seems shorter. I still have the upper section with the nose cone which was blown clear when it catoed. As was mentioned earlier, the diameter is larger than the standard today at 4.125" .

I did find specs on the Aggressor its says 105" it used a shorter nose cone than did other Dyacom kits. Do you have any plans of rebuilding the Pluto?

That's a good question. I have the upper half of the rocket. Finding airframe tubing the right size could be a problem.
