Now sold

Almost don't want to part with this one - a NIB Venus Model Rocketry "Giblet" boost glider, but 90% assembled by Mark (Petrovich) himself. Can't remember what I paid for this, but the normal kit goes for $16. This ARF version has the flying surfaces expertly airfoiled and sealed, the wing swing pin/bearing and flop hinges installed, the fuselage/boom is shaped, and all the wood surfaces are sealed and ready to go. Just glue on the tail surfaces and pre-bent band hooks, assemble the pod, trim and fly.

I've flown (and lost) numerous Giblet BG's and Gizzard RG's, they are easy to trim, boost high and glide extremely well. Still have a couple in the model box, so this one isn't needed now. I am not sure if Mark still offers the ARF option (it's not listed on his website https://www.venusrocketry.com/index.html), but here's a rare chance to get a competitive FAI S4B class BG that has all the critical work done (less tail alignment).

Details here: https://www.venusrocketry.com/RKT_002.html

Specs -

13.875" span
1.875" chord
15.375" long
.53 oz/53 gr flying weight
13mm motors (1/2A-3T to A10-3T)

Sold.
