Orbital ATK (formerly Orbital Sciences Corporation) Viper IIIA meteorological sounding rocket, drawn based on existing available scale modeling data. The actual rocket is launched from a launcher whose rails are twisted to impart a spin, along with a core-burning high-thrust booster motor.
