Got older, moved farther apart, kids grown, no extra time to fly.
Same thing that gets most of us....youz & meez... are just hard core Chuck!
Burl would know the details, we talked about it at NSL in O' burg. He is an honorary member.
Got my 15yr pin this year, boy time flies. How long for you?

Got my 10-year pin. If I stayed in all these years, it would 35. Darn, too bad.

Are they the ones that had video stuff and LED thingies? If so, I saw one of them at LDRS.
If not...I must be getting as old as you two.

Thats too bad. I actually used their site years ago as a place to send newbies to sort of show them what is possible in rocketry. Hope they get back into it sometime soon. Rocketry is better off with them and their creativity.

Their website was one of the main starting points for me to figure out how to make nose cones. Designed my process very much like theirs, so thanks Vatsass bros.

Loved the "Rocket Formerly Known as Black" story. Quite a hysterical bit of Karma there.

Don't know about that, these guys.

I did a thread about the "Black Rocket" last year & sold 125 of them by accident for Charlie O...LOL

These guys..had a hilarious site . Cake rockets was one of my favorites....

I loved all their huge rockets made from cut foam overlaid with fiberglass. They built some amazing things. I built one that was similar myself, but their techniques are a lot more efficient, and their finished results are a lot more polished. At some point, I’m going to get the right tools together to build some more huge Foam rockets.

It's been long enough now that I'm honestly questioning myself......"did I just imagine/dream the existence of the Vatsaas Bros. website?" It was all so otherworldly, strange, and beautiful that it may have not actually existed - a figment as it were. I loved spending time there (and learning a lot from it as well!).
