University of Sydney Rocketry Team Wins 10k' Challenge at Spaceport America Cup 2019

From their Facebook page:
"We are stoked to announce that USYD Rocketry Team has won first place at Spaceport America Cup for the 10,000 ft COTS Category. Silvereye, our competition rocket, flew to 10,027 ft with perfect flight events and recovery. — at Las Cruces Convention Center."

It is really nice to see their efforts and professionalism pay off. Go team! A well-deserved win. This is the first time the event has been attended by an Australian team. Their first ever launch to 10k' was December 2018, just a few short months ago. They placed second in the inaugural Australian Universities Rocket Competition in April this year, also in the 10k' category.

Great group of students! Had the opportunity to chat with them at the convention center on Tuesday and at Spaceport. Looking forward to seeing them in New Mexico in the future.
