Few questions:

1) Which US Composites hardener would you recommend for laying up fiberglass/carbon fiber tubes?

2) Which US Composites resins would you recommend for structural work? The 150?

3) Is Aeropoxy/West Systems worth the extra money for structural work?

US Composites makes great product!

I use 635 & Medium for layups, 150 & Fast for structural work. Also purchase some expanding foam while your at it. Besides the above I only need to get some 5 minute epoxy--typically get System Three from Aircraft Spruce for tacking things and then you have most everything you need for your HPR adhesive needs.

Same here, love the stuff and half price of WS:clap:
but I use Epoxy with 3:1 Ratio Medium Epoxy Hardener, the 150 mixed the milled FG works great for fillets. Beyond that I use JB weld, mostly on CF.

I use the thin medium for glassing.

I had some 150 fast, and it was always really weak and brittle, and not nearly as strong as the thin medium stuff. Maybe I got a bad batch or something, but I wouldn't recommend it. I just ordered some thin medium and thin fast, and hopefully the thin fast will be as strong as the thin medium and not like the 150 fast.

Thin works OK for structural stuff if you add lots of fillers.
