My wife and two sons will be there with me. Looks like chips may be needed, we can sign up for that. I sent an email earlier with a question, as well.

Loading up the car tonight...bringing my newly finished EZI-65 loaded with a J180T. I'll have a bunch of extra motors for it as well (I190 Plain Jane, J275 Plainer Jane, J90W) if I'm able to get time. We'll also have our 3 and 1 year olds to monitor!

WOW what a great weekend, Lots of good people, lots of great food, lots of sunny blue skies both days, lots of great flights, two L3 attempts, one successful, one not, (But Austin is making some minor repairs and coming back in September). Steve Gregorski's beautiful 'L' sugar motor flight. Yeah even Mike Pitfield had a few great flights. Just all around lots of fun for everyone there.
If you missed this weekend it's your loss.

I just grabbed a screenshot from the padcam of my 3" Darkstar launch. Man that Loki Red (K527LR) is really red.

Thanks to Mike Dutch, Jim Livingston, Ken Allen and the rest of the crew at URRG. What an awesome weekend of flying. The whole family had such a great time and can’t wait to come back out in September. My son is already asking when I am going for my L4.

What else can I say, great people, great weather and great flying...

Well the beans and corn kinda of suck.

Oh yeah I also got my L3!!!

Hey Mike, thanks and hopefully next time without the pressure of a cert flight and entertaining a couple of kids I can come by and introduce myself properly.

I thought the L4 thing was a joke, so what is the difference between a TRA L3 and a CAR L4? Can I fly a L3 motor in Canada with my TRA cert?

L3 in TRA or NAR is the same as L4 in CAR. They will recognize your L3 as an L4 for a CAR launch.
    L2 NAR/TRA is CAR L3
CAR L2 allows you to fly I motors.
CAR L1 allows you to fly H motors.

I see Steve gave you the breakdown. I would only add that I think the original CAR certification team were fans of Spinal Tap.

I also enjoyed watching your kids Higgs Farm rocket drag race. I was surprised on how well, high and fast they flew. I am now motivated to insert mine into the build pile over the winter.

Unfortunately I am done for high-power launches this year due to my workload at the office, so proper introductions will have to wait until May or June. Hopefully I can still get a couple of local mid-power launches in though.

    Hey Bob,

Thanks, I don’t think we met in person yet but hope to be out in September with a couple of 2 stagers to fly and I will introduce myself then if you will be attending.

Confused...All of my flights were single stage....
The flight pictures were other people's rockets
