I've logged in and put my name down for a volunteer shift. All seems to be working fine!
Thanks all, looking forward to the event!
One day left for early bird registration price.
Hey I want to thank you guys (URRG BoD) for the work you've already put into this launch. I had a little trouble registering, but Spencer got me through it alright.
Featured flights page is kind of funky too read. Maybe it's my phone IDK
In the past several years I have had so much fun tent camping with the group at country charm 1 mile from the field. This year I broke down and bought a camper and a seasonal spot. I just planted my new Chicken Coop. I hear the spots are about full for URRF so if you haven't already booked a spot id get the can and string comm line going to find a spot. We are going to have a great time really looking forward to this year being retired with a pile of rockets to build is a good problem.
Larry the day you retire is the day they put you in the ground, how many hours did you work this past week?
Correction. Country Charm is full. I am in the last overflow site up by the barn.
I guess you have a point Mike, I still have 3 of the 4 jobs. Ok so I am working on getting rid of work if that makes sense. I guess its all good. I know one thing ill be at all the launches this year. Eric well try and find a way to squeeze you in next to us its way to far to walk to the barn to lap up those ribs. Oh Ya
Thank you to all of our club members and club supporters, we have some great news to share! We are making infrastructure update's to our club. First update which is well underway and will be completed by end of May, is the entry road to our site. A well needed update! No small task, mud and sludge had to be dug out and removed. Holes filled and 400 ton of rock spread through out and leveled off.
The road looks fantastic and we have many more improvements in the works. So keep an eye out as we move forward.
If you would like to register for URRF6 and have not done so yet please see visit the URRF6 site or the link below.
Work in Progress!
Wow is that wonderful news Jerry..
Thank you all for all of your good work..
these guys are really working hard.
btw urrg construction crew will come to your house to put gravel....welll....where ever for a fee :>
they clearly do nice work!
ps please use that cat to bury the onions...
We should be good, presently the onions are not in the main field. I just took this photo last week. There are some Onion's north and to the right of the main field, nothing to "cry" about though. Pun on the word "Cry" it has to do with onions.. lol
While you guys are onsite can someone take a chainsaw to this.
It's rare that those trees get fed, but it does keep them from getting angry.
We have a new food vendor this year. Southern Style Barbecue, Brisket, Pulled Pork, along with specialty donuts and coffee in the morning!
Check them out when you get a chance https://www.thebarbequeshack.com
The even menu can be found here: https://urrf.us/food-at-urrf/
lol I will have to forward that one off to Glenn Iverson. Glenn and I have spent more time than I would like in that spider infested patch of evil. I am pretty sure that I hear "chi chi chi" (children of the corn reference) every time I walk in there.
Just heard from "da boss". T-Shirt Sales will end on May 31st.
On field sales will be limited - so if you really want one - best to get one on order
Featured Flight List....so far......for URRF
We just got done this week certing some college teams. The road work is really coming nice. There are no onions in the field for URRF its a onion free zone. URRF 6 is going to be fun.
