URRF-X, June 20-22, 2025

June seems far away right now, but mark your calendars. The tenth edition of the Upstate Research Rocketry Festival - URRF-X - will be at the Torrey Farm of Potter, NY on 6/20 thru 6/22, 2025. Details are slim right now (we only just settled on the date), but its a safe bet that the format will be similar to URRFs past, and this year's LDRS. There will be rockets. We might have a banquet. You should come.

If anyone is interested in participating in the planning and joining our crack(ed) team, let me know!

Im definitely coming up there for URRF. I understand that details haven't been worked out yet, but I was wondering what the registration fee is and when registration will open?

Safe to assume a waiver like LDRS?

Information and the event website should be operational around the first of the year. Registration will be available then.

Important bit of news- we are TENTATIVELY looking at changing the event dates, pushing back by two weeks. We recently realized that Spaceport Cup is overlapping our original dates and is going to be a conflict for multiple members of the event staff and some vendors. This is not finalized yet, however, so watch this space for updates.

Honestly, this would be a nice change. It feels like NYPOWER and URRF are almost back to back. Spreading it out a little gives a bit of breathing room in a packed calendar.

Update - the target for the website going live is end of January. This gives us time to come up with tee shirt art, raffle prizes, etc, and get our ducks in a row.
