URRF September 24-25 in Potter, NY

Launch Location: Torrey Farms of Potter, 4270 State Route 364, Penn Yan, NY 14527
Launch Dates: September 24 and 25
Time: Setup starts at 9:30, range is open from 10 am to ~5 pm
Waiver: 15,000' AGL standing, 18,000' AGL call ins

The corn was cut down Saturday morning of the August launch!

Anyone planning to attend? I will be there on Saturday and plan to fly my Hawk Mountain Bad Attitude on a 76/6000 orange M1200 to an estimated 13,000'.

I expect to be there, unless the weather screws us. I am hoping to have my MAC Scorpion flyable by then, but that's TBD.

Looks like it should be a decent weekend, though a bit cooler (which I'm not complaining about). I plan to be there both days; I'm taking tomorrow off from work so I can get stuff done around the house ahead of the weekend...

I remember seeing a picture of this the other day, where the builder was talking about using aluminum tape, but I can't recall who the builder was.

That rocket turned out really nice!
