Upscaled Talon rocket I'm getting ready for a spring launch

So what is everyone working on this winter, in preparation for a Spring launch?

I did an upscaled (2x) version of my Talon rocket, though not its more an inspired by version; for example, the length and body tube are 2x the length, but the fins aren't quite as 2x as wide, etc.

Target weight is 22.5oz, flies on F44-4, F67-6, G74-6, up to G80 (doubt I'd use that at Mt Airy w/o breaking out a chute release, which I still need to tinker with mine).

New upscaled Talon on the left, older Talon on the right...

Paintjob is to be metallic purple, no blue fins as that was a real pain to get right.

BT-80 from BT-55? Looking forward to seeing it in Mt Airy.

Yes, upgrade from BT-55 to BT-80. I have it ready to fly, but unpainted. I have to get out there and seal the wood/sand/prime/paint still. Not sure when it'll fly - that depends on the weather, and March/April can be unpredicably windy and yuck.
