Blast Off! Space Day
Out-of-this-world Free Family Fun at the Pensacola National Naval Aviation Museum

10 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturday, July 17

A feature presentation at 10 a.m. by Russell Romanella, director of the International Space Station and Spacecraft Processing Directorate at John F. Kennedy Space Center, Fla., will highlight the Blast Off! Space Day event from 10 a.m.–1p.m. on Saturday, July 17 at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Additional free activities include hands-on exhibits including a NASA glove box, paper rocket making and a launch contest, and sampling the always-popular astronaut ice cream. The IMAX theatre will offer one free child admission with the purchase of one adult admission to the noon showing of HUBBLE.

And NASA Administrator Charles Bolden will be speaking at Pensacola's Institute for Human & Machine Cognition on Aug. 19 at 6 p.m.

Maybe there's no one in the general area! Besides, aren't you afraid that you'll accidentally ignite the Gulf? :eek:
 
Man Tommrrow? OUCH! That's about a 6 hour drive as the coast lies...

Darn....My bike's gonna be well past it's maintenence schedule....Dangit!
Gotta think about this...maybe I might be able to make it....MAYBE!
Either way, MAN, I'm definately interested!
They can keep the ice cream though.. BLECH!!!!!!:D
