Pack some leftover turkey sandwiches and come out to Turkey & GRITS 2020 for two days of rocketry (masked and socially distanced, y'all!), with a 12000 ft limit. Online registration is available through 9 PM Wednesday the 25th; after that, register at the field, cash only. NAR launch rules, but TRA folk are certainly welcome. Chris' Rocket Supplies is our on-site motor vendor. Click the link for more info.

If you're still having trouble getting to the website (servers are up and I haven't had any problems) here is the latest weather report I just posted

Friday afternoon weather update for the weekend
Saturday keeps getting a little worse while Sunday morning through noon looks a little better. Saturday there’s a 70% chance of a half inch of rain between midnight and noon, which drops to 20% for the afternoon, early morning rains could mean it’s a bit muddy on the field. Sky cover averages 80%. Temperatures in the high 60’s. Winds back to calm from the north. Mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of thunder showers all day.

Sunday the wind will be 8 MPH from the east. Rain chance increases to 60% with an accumulation of a quarter inch of rain in the afternoon.

No word yet on what the potential ceiling might be, but remember that altitude may be restricted.

Next update sometime this evening. Bottom line is that we’ll be there on Saturday and do what we can.

We are GO, Field is fine. Road is fine. Ceiling is 2500' MSL (2200' above ground). Get out there and get flying!
