CANCELLED Tulsa Rocketry July Launch - August 21st - Cancelled due to Burn Ban - Leonard, OK

Good evening all, Tulsa Rocketry is going to be holding our next launch on August 21st in Leonard, OK (South of Tulsa). We had planned for the 14th, but Tulsa County issued a burn ban on August 8th thru the 15th.

We are hoping for good weather and light winds so we can fly on the 21st! Come out and fly some rockets with us!

Day: Sunday, August 21st

Time: Setup at 0830; Launch Window 0900 to 1300 (Beat the heat launch)

Tulsa County extended the burn ban through the 22nd so we will have to cancel the launch for our alternate date of the 21st.

Our next opportunity to fly will be at the High Frontier launch in Pawhuska on September 24th and 25th.

Tulsa County extends burn ban until Aug. 22

Tulsa County Commissioners approved extending the burn ban within Tulsa County for another seven days. A burn ban was put in effect on Aug. 8.
