Tripoli Las Vegas Launch Day

Here is a video of the Tripoli Las Vegas club hosting their monthly launch day on January 16th.
Started out nice, but when the winds picked up, things got “interesting”.......
Overall, a great day of flying! Congrats to all the participants as well as a couple of successful Level 1 certifications!!! Great job!!!!!

I need to get out there sometime soon. Maybe I'll come down for Springfest! I've got a cigarette scented room with phones that still say "goldstrike" on them at ol' Terrible's calling my name.

The rocket that drifted so far was mine. Patternflyer was kind enough to help me look. We found another rocket, then that guy helped too. That thing had to have gone a mile. It was the first time I've recovered off the lake bed. The motor test at the end was an O motor that the UNLV club put together.
