TRF Tour de Deuce Fireside Chat!

Hi all,

The TDD team would like to announce to the TRF world that we have scheduled a Tour de Deuce chat, here on TRF, for March 7th, 2004. The time is yet to be announced, but will likely be between 3pm and 7pm, EST. The entire Tour de Deuce team will be there, and we will be happy to answer any of your questions. The guidelines for this event will be very similar to the previous Fireside chat that was hosted earlier this year...or was it last year?

Anyways, all are invited to come! We'd love to discuss the project with you!

You may wish to take a look at the thread on the FlisKits Fireside chat in this forum. There were a set of loose ground rules that seemed to help things flow very smoothly for Jim as the speaker/moderator. Hmmmm...maybe we should talk the admins into posting a sticky thread on suggested etiquette for the fireside chats. I'll bring it up to the mods & admins.

Hi all,

The TDD fireside chat has been scheduled for 4pm, Sunday, March 7th. Myself, Jim Flis, and Eugene Cebellero will be in attendence, and we hope to discuss whatever topics possible, such as:

• When will the TDD be coming to me?
• There's a big event coming here? Can I get the TDD for then?
• What makes the TDD so fun for youse guys?
• How did it start? (for those that don't know)

Along with many others! Come join us! It'll be a lot of fun!

Eh, don't feel so bad. I tried to connect off and on and gave up myself.

well, that explains why the turnout was very moderate. I think 6 was the high.

We should try this again maybe in about 3-4 weeks and in the mean time see if we can stabilize the server...
