The membership map is up and running........ The are a few things I must still do...... 1. Find out how to put a "page" into the Tripod webpage without using a link....... 2. Put some controls like a "back" button on the page, to allow the user to get back to the home page......

I am now ready to start putting members data in........ You can put as little or as much info as you want...... I put my name (TRF nickname and real name), local rocket club, hometown and email address........

You can reply here, email me or PM me.......

And as always, more ideas, suggestions and comments are always welcome......

Oh, as once again here's my website....

YES!!!! I am not asking anyone to give (post) any info they don't feel comfortable giving out......... This is just a way for other members to find out who else is in their area.......

I will update the state of Kansas today........

Blue Ninja, I've already updated Kansas. Do you want me to put a link to your club? If so, what is the address?

Since we are getting more international members, maybe you should add a world map as another page?

You can locate a lot of members by selecting the members button, selecting advanced search, and entering states one by one in the "location field contains" list item. It will bring up members who included that state in their profile.

Minor nits on mine: The MDRA link would look better if it was on the same line as the NARHAMS link. please place a semicolon or an 'enter' after the word 'databases' in the lower lines.

Like I said, minor stuff.

This should be cool once its fleshed out. This needs to be on the TRF links page.

I updated the map again....... I fixed your minor stuff.

If there was more positive response to this project, I would agree that it should be TRF Link...... But right now I have less than 10 people listed...... Kind of disappointing.........

I have done the next round of updates to the Membership Map..... I have 14 members in 13 states!!!!

For those of you who listed an email address, I know that I don't have the "email" part working, ie there isn't a actual email link that the user can click on to send a email .... I will have to find out what HTML codes make that work...... I know "A href" is what you use for a website link.......

Sort of like the "Tour de Duece", I want to have at least one member from each state....... 13 down and 37 to go........

I am going to start work on the world map now.......

Here's an example:

<a href="mailto:me@address.com">me@address.com</a>

oops, here is the text, minus the leading <

a href="mailto:me@address.com">me@address.com</a>

Don't forget the closing /a tag!

I'll add my data as soon as there's an international version, unless you want to stick me a few pixels north of WA. :)
