My wife forced me to go shopping 😲 ....the horror I was trapped with no source of respite, however I did coerce her into stopping and getting donuts.

When it said that not-me tried logging in 5 times and locked me out, and then I saw that there were 0 members and 245 guests, I figured it was a software glitch. I'm sure we'll get all new advertisements!

I was beginning to think I had been hacked. Was it one of my old hacker buddies way of saying "hello and fix your s**t homey" ? I changed passwords for everything that matters and increased my security. Should have been done anyway.

The fact that the IP address of the last failed login started with 172.31 should have been my first clue that it was an internal problem.

How can you tell IP address of failed logins?

I went to cut and core grains for the green motor I'm flying this weekend. Unfortunately had to scrap a bunch due to voids. At least I got enough for a 2 grain H motor.

Something else about it is interesting. Some background......TRF has always loaded VERY slowly on one of the computers I sometimes use for some reason. That computer and it's internet access has never had any issues with any other site, just TRF.

Just before this weird glitch I noticed that all of the sudden, it was loading just fine...no bogging down or semi freezes.
Then, just like many people here, TRF wouldn't let me log in, and it said my password wasn't valid. The site was still loading just fine (and quick), but I couldn't log in personally.
Now that the glitch seems to be fixed, I can log in again, and it still loads fine/quick.

So something changed for the better. I don't know if the two issues were related, but I imagine they were. Works for me.

Would love to hear what actually happened.

Remember that all of these sights are transient. ROL was created by Darrell, sold to the Extreme Rocketry guy, and then sold to Troj. Troj sold that when he sold TRF and it is gone.

Darrell created RP, he died without a business continuity plan in place, we tried to keep it going, but eventually shut it down.

The original TRF crashed hard due to a database error as I recall. Was eventually sold to Troj. He sold it to whomever. Not saying it is going away , but nothing is forever.

I was just happy to learn that it wasn't just me. I thought maybe I had offended the rocket gods and had been banished.

The great TRF blackout of 2016. Where were you?
I was in China, escorting my mom around the city.

(and wondering if a certain someone had complained again about my comments about vendors, and if it had crossed some BS line)

Hmm, I was watching the Ravens womp the Panthers in glorious preseason football. Missed the whole debacle.

I took four Valium and called the suicide hot line. They told me to "get a life".

I thought it was my pc. So I defragged it, scanned it twice with two different malware programs and yelled at the TV commentators, while watching the Olympics.
