Transwing super glider question

Hi, been awhile . Pulled an Estes Transwing Super Glider out of the stash. My question is...
Does the fuselage stick go ALL the way up into the forward fuselage plastic thingy??
My guess is that you wouldn't want to do that for stability. Directions are unclear.

Flight stability comes from the booster tube. Glide stability results from proper trim, that's what the clay weight is for. When hand tossing it if it dives, put some weight on the tail. If it stalls, vice versa.
So to answer your question, I would glue the stick all the way to the front stop.
Adjust with the clay if needed.
