Buys you more time to build more rockets for launching later this/next year.

It's about the least of our problems!

The child in my heart was disappointed but I do understand the reasoning.

I told my wife it gives me time to buy more motors !!! I am sure I will build some more as well.....

You don't need a club or an organization to have a launch.
All you need is rockets, motors, launch pad and controller and a nice big empty field.
Go when nobody's around.
Do it many times.
Stay happy.
