I know for sure that Arizona was done. There's a mutilated Scorpion in the souvenir case to prove it!

Looking at my map from the halfway point, I don't see KS being done. Tom, if you could go ahead and ship the Deuce's to Blue Ninja, that would be excellent.

Thanks,
Jason

BlueNinja, please PM me your mailing address. I'll try to get the deuces into the mail early next week.

Yikes! Still need to decide on a souvenir to put in the box!

How about a casino chip from an Atlantic City casino?

Maybe some dried cranberries? Wikipedia says that's a big harvest in NJ.

Might as well put a shot glass in there. There are a few there already, including one of mine.

Now if I had known what Jim drank, I could have included that as well.

Congrats WShoreRockets, you got the 1000th post in this thread!

I do believe this qualifies as the longest thread on TRF. I feel like a proud papa!

Jason

Word association would be in the top post numbers, if only...

I got 1002 post :D

I was counting only legitimate threads, not game threads.

TDD Thread FTW!!

Flew both of the rockets today-both successfully, too! I've got pictures, but I neglected to bring a USB cable so it'll be a few days before I can upload.

EDIT: When I took the first Deuce to the RSO table, the RSO commented on how Deuces were nice rockets and that he'd flown one just like mine in some project that was trying to fly a pair of them in every state... They're getting around! I think it was Steve Shannon?

Also... I'm about 10 miles from the Oklahoma border, but I don't have a pad of my own to fly from. If there's someone at LDRS from OK that I can pass the rockets off to, that'd be awesome-but kinda depends on whether or not they check the forum between now and monday.

Excellent! :D

Can't wait to see the pix!

Jason, where are they going next?

Also, please contact me with regard to the TdD web site so that I can get that updated and refreshed with all the new states. Let's breath life back into this project! :)

Excellent news! Can't wait for pix!

I'll put together a list of states completed and needed ASAP - will likely have it tomorrow. That will allow Jim to update the site and more volunteers to step up to the plate.

Thanks all!

Jason

Agreed! I'm sure that people are sick of looking at my ugly head on the front of the status page! :p

I'm really glad to see things moving along again, even if the site isn't current.

Nice pics blu.

I don't know if this was mentioned anywhere or not, but what will happen to the TDDeuce's after the event is over?

Well...for sure one is going into the Fliskits museum. Most likely the stock colored one. The other, well...

I was thinking we should take a really thin bandsaw, cut it in half, and Eugene and I would mount each on identical frames for all eternity.

Ok, bad idea.

But it was funny, huh? :rotflol:
