WHAT: ThunderStruck 2023 Regional Rocket Launch.

WHEN: April 14-16, 2023, 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Pence, Indiana HP Launch Field -- 40d 23' 12.38" N; 87d 30' 40.62" W. Field elevation is 709 feet above mean sea level (MSL).

WAIVER: 17,999 feet MSL.

COST: $25 for Indiana Rocketry members, $35 for non-members, special $50 deal for non-members ONLY includes TS 2023 registration + 1 year Indiana Rocketry membership (no flight fees). On-line, advance registration is HIGHLY preferred – flyers registering at the launch will be charged DOUBLE (2x) the advance registration rate.

The Breaded Tenderloins is enough to make me want to go. I grew up in the mid-west and you do not find them out east.

While the cost of HPR has gone up enough that I likely won't be flying anything, I still plan to attend and watch everyone else burn some serious ap. This will be the first big launch for my kids so definitely looking forward to it!

We attended a couple launches in 2020/21, but hadn't been to one until this past weekend and my son couldn't get enough. Lots of hooting and hollering on every flight. He's really going to enjoy Thunderstruck.

I'm planning on toting the trailer down so I'll have a little bit of everything as options. I'd like to get a few of these up though some 3, 4 and 5 inch airframes on some J-M's

I'll also a bucket of models, old middies and a tackle box full of BP motors I lend out for the kiddos to fly. Bring the kids by grab a few to use for the day if they don't have anything to fly. The more the merrier
