I see that uploaded images no longer display as thumbnails, only as links.

If by accident, I'm reporting it so it can get fixed.

If this is on purpose, it's a very bad downgrade IMHO.

Yes! The fact that you have to log in now in order to just be able to see attachments, has been addressed over,
and over,
and over again.
I have yet to get the "powers that be" to elaborate as to why this was changed from the previous TFR.
I suppose we just have to tough it out and get used to it.

It appears displaying thumbnails is configured only for logged in users...
Ahhhh, I forgot about that. I was running my Mac under a system I usually do not use, which meant the browser did not log me in automatically as it usually does. Of course I had to log in to post the message. But did not think to check after I logged in to post the message, to see if the thumbnails were visible.

It was probably the default setting for a fresh install of vBulletin. I'll see if there's any reason it shouldn't be changed. No promises though.

Try going to UserCP, Edit Options, Thread Display Options and check "Show Images (including attached images and images in code)"

I have mine turned off, so I can surf forum and not have to wait while 600 build-thread images download (specifically an issue while surfing at work during lunch break).

Weird. Does it work if you upload an image?
