Very Cool!
Reminds me a little of Roky Erickson and 13th Floor Elevators.

Thought it was a Moog, but too early. That took me on an interesting journey, thanks.

track #1 - "You're Gonna Miss Me"..one of the greatest garage rock tunes of all times!

Totally!

This Thread will give me a great soundtrack for all of my vintage machine restorations.
Hopefully a lot of cool vintage tunes are displayed here.

There can be only one...

We've already hijacked this thread.....but:
If we're talkin "vintage" pop tunes around the time of the 13th floor elevators...here's one:

...or two, of the same era:

Back to the OP on space themed music and "Telstar".....

This was the original video I stumbled across years ago - with the clavioline, same instrument as used on Telstar,
The sound was unmistakable, but the images were like Deja Vu

The images were from a book I had as kid back in 1958.
My avatar uses the cover of the book (at 0:05)
Captures the idealism and optimism of the era.

Enjoy!

This lesser known Tornados hit sounds like it came from a cheezy Japanese sci-fi movie......

The Outsiders were local...my cousin went to school with them.
I had that book as a kid...and the How and Why Wonder book of rockets and missiles that had a dozen rockets leaving the Earth.
