$50 OFF! :w:
I have been waiting for this.
Ordered 2 units this morning. A very good deal IMO.
I had to order too. Too good of a price to pass up.
convinced myself I need
To good to pass up!
I would have bought 2, but could not add a second to the cart.
Got mine. Want to thank my goverment.
Yeah, I had to do 2 transactions. Some food for thought as a possible improvement to the website.
Yep got it, dont worry youwill only be charged one shipping.
This sale will expire at 11:59pm EST Monday Oct 7.
Sorry, the insanity must end sometime.
I could resist no more and Kinda think you will not see 50 bucks off again
2 new altimeters it is
I am surprised Gus is not buying a dozen units.
Oh, wait, he probably has that many of them already.:eyepop:
I wonder which is the higher number:
Number of altimeters Gus currently has,
or number of N motors currently in Gus's motor box :y:
I'm sooo jealous.
Order shipping status: Orders should be shipped over the course of the following week. 50g units will go first, then the 100g units. If anyone has a urgent deadline for a launch let me know.
Thanks all. This was fun. Sorta.
at least the sale doesnt expire retroactively! looking forward to flying this great altimeter.
To all that have ordered 100g altimeters I just wanted to give a heads-up.
More is not always better. The 100g units are very linear and accurate as evidenced by Gerald Meux Balls flight with his O25000. Burned for 2 seconds with cost up to ~30K and nailed the apogee perfectly. However the acceleration measurement resolution is 1/2 the 50g version.
So if most of your flights are in the 10-20g range the 50g unit will be better for motor characterization through the MARSA Connect software.
For normal deployment duty either will do a nice job even with low acceleration flights.
The 50g units actually are good up to about 58g's.
Send me an email or PM if you want change your mind.
When I try to use paypal the price is still $225. Is it $225-$50=$175 or?
There is no place on the paypal menu where I see the $50 rebate deducted.
Paypal forces me to pay $225+shipping.
I couldn't get the house to pass a "clean" bill... And the executive refuses to negotiate. I told her, that the result wouldn,t be a spending problem, but a revenue problem, and the incresed debt limit would be needed so I can have credit on the flying field.
I did make the first call, I put my monthly lunch with my son at hooters on the table for 6 months.. (till next spring).. There is a backroom somewhere, and no one in it!... She wouldnt even come to the negotiating table.
Looks like criminal activity will be the only way. I will start Lobying my next of kin, and the children. My son wants a new R/C anything, and the girls like shoes... perhaps that will be my ticket!...
I will refund the $50 to your Paypal account after the transaction.
Dang, I didn't know the sale would end like this. My girlfriend's brother works on Capitol Hill, so I had the latest information on the status of the shutdown, and was going to bide my time and see how low it would go. Would have been a good opportunity to replace the two MARSA54s I lost at Balls. Oh well.
I'll extend the sale to midnight tonite.
Received my two units today.:w:
Now, how do you differentiate the 50G from the 100G? They look perfectly identical to me...
Look up the serial numbers on the accelerometer chips?
great deal - thanks.
Is it printed on the label for the bag they each came in? If so, you can then use a Sharpie to mark each board.
Your's are both 100g units, (according to paypal). If you want a 50g, no problem just send one back and I will swap it for a 50g).
You can tell the difference by powering it on or looking at the accelerometer chip. The 50g part number is MMA2202, the 100g is MMA2204.
Well, I'll be darned. You are correct; I thought I had ordered one of each.
Thank you for the generous offer to return one unit. In the end I think I will just keep them both. 100G is not a bad idea in my case, as I tend to stuff large motors in small rockets anyway... :dark:
Offer stands anytime before you fly it.
Thanks to all who have participated in this sale. The Federal Government and the price are now back to normal:wink:
The last of the orders went out Monday so everyone should have their MARSA54 today or tomorrow at the latest. Contact me if anyone is missing theirs or any questions you may have.
For those who are waiting hoping for another shutdown sale Jan 15, 2014, it's not going to happen.:flyingpig:
