This will be the First Kit for me but not the last from “The Launch Pad”. Good kit and fast build.
This is my second Rocket after my Re-introduction to the Hobby. Don’t know why I ever left.

The grain direction on the forward fins doesn't look right. It should be parallel to the leading edge, not the root edge. They will be less likely to break on landing if parallel to the root edge. If you haven't filleted them yet you may be able to cut them off and cut some new fins.

I too love the launch pad kits

Yep, I soked them with Thin CA hoping they make the first launch or two.
Thanks any way for the helpful suggestion, bets to do it the correct way to begin with.

Rocke9005 is correct; the grain is running the wrong way. They WILL break with any significant impact. You might want to cover the forward fins in paper befor you finish the kit.
