I keep the 'odd' socks to make full pairs. Once every two years (January of ever even numbered year) I take ALL of my socks and trash them and start all over again with new sets. It's the only way to be sure...... :)
Nuke it from orbit...

I just buy the same damn pairs of socks over and over again. Matching is never a problem!

Either that, or suddenly all the crotches in your underwear seem extra fluffy.
Reminds me of something that ought to go in the Jokes thread, but what the hey.

I used to take my laundry to the dry cleaners' shop in town. But I noticed that my underpants were coming back with the racing stripe still clearly visible.

So the next time, I taped a note to the bag saying, "Please use more detergent."

When I got the bag back, there was another note taped to it, that said, "Please use more toilet paper."

The nerve of some people!

Understood. But I will say this, I have owned several other brands of inkjet printers, and none have been as reliable (especially regarding print heads not clogging) as the Epson printers have been. Just my experience of course compared to Canon, HP, Brother, etc.
I stopped buying ink jets when the last Epson I purchased burned out one print head after 30 days. $70 printer, refills were about the same as the original cost.
I finally just went with a laser printer. I print little enough anymore that dried print heads and burned out print heads are no longer an issue. Refilling the toner cartridge is an option, although I have yet to burn through one to the point of needing refilling.

+1

I go through color laser cartridges less than once per year. Never looked back. Makes nice decals too.

the tin foil hat makes a great antenna!
Sadly "Tinfoil" hasn't been produced in decades, meanwhile Aluminum Foil only has 33%* the efficiency in stopping the various types of mind control rays currently being used by the various nefarious organizations that use mind control rays.

*The banishment of Tinfoil and its replacement with Aluminum Foil was a deliberate action by those nefarious organizations that use mind control rays.
It's all part of the conspiracy people.

Today the government deferred for yet another year information related to the Kennedy assassination of 1963.

Earlier this year the government confirmed the UFO/UAP phenomena was real and unexplained. And really that it has known this for the better part of 70 years.

I take it that this strongly suggests that at least some coverups (conspiracies) do exist.

Probably more to protect their means of acquiring information and conceal their capabilities from the likes of China. There may also be a facet of not wanting to compromise ongoing operations.

That’s not to say that it’s a benign reasoning but it probably doesn’t indicate anything truly nefarious in the Kennedy case either.

I interpreted this as “Yeah, we’ve seen some weird stuff from their air. We don’t know what it is.” Again, not necessarily anything nothing shady (although any visitors may disagree 👽).

Operation Trojan Horse by John A. Keel is a completely different take on what UFO's are and if the Government had any evidence, much less any proof, that Keel's theory was correct they would move heaven and earth to keep people from finding out as it would be terrifying and likely to drive most people over the edge.

Yep. I've read several books by John Keel, albeit many years ago. Currently I'm reading Skinwalkers at the Pentagon, An Insider's Account of the Government UFO Program. This new book has been reviewed and approved for public release by the US Department of Defense. The invisible 800 lb gorilla in the room, now slowly materializing, is the correlation of paranormal/psychic phenomena with UFO phenomena. However, my understanding/experiences are not as bleak as Keel would have it. An invigorating writer, maybe he exaggerates some. Still, If government is going to be releasing any more evidence or even mention of this "6th Observable" (human effects of the phenomena), then IMHO it is going to have to be done very slowly and very carefully.

To avoid large-scale panic, the government needs to give the public time to absorb and come to grips with the truth about UFOs before they reveal that it was actually UFOs that killed Kennedy.

If art imitates life... the Netflix series the Umbrella Academy alludes that an Alien tried to save JFK's life, so you know it's true.

There are folks challenged with alternative views of reality from all walks of life and all kinds of beliefs. I have a family member that believes that the church and government purposely keep people poor in order to keep them under their power. He thinks that they listen to his calls and have bugged his hours. It is quite fun having him over for dinner. Some of these folks are harmless and others are very dangerous.

I personally think we need find a means to house some the more dangerous ones even if they do not violate the law. They really need help and some need it 24/7.

I would just mix and match. I don’t care as long they keep my feet warm and dry.

While I don't agree with much that my cousin's partner talks about (first time I heard about the "chemtrails"), I'm also not so proud to think I'm not being manipulated and at times fooled by media and the government.

I once saw a newscaster on a live NYC morning News show suddenly stop mid-report, hesitate and then switch to other news. I had to look up the incident (which they earlier kept saying "coming up") on my own and it ended up that it didn't fit with that station's political/leadership stance or narrative.

Regardless there's also people who are plain crazy or dangerous, but it's been that way throughout human history.
