It was another gorgeous day at Snow Ranch! They had a surprise second launch this month, which I just heard about yesterday. I wasn't about to miss it! It was slow, with only about 20 cars. But it was still a great day. It's nice to see water still in the creeks.

I launched two today. The first was the third flight of the venerable Bullpup XL, this time on an H165 Redline. Beautiful flight!

On the lunch menu were Nathan's hot dogs, among other snacks.

Fantastic report! Great photos! Was wondering if you'd go as I saw the late announcement. But after so many scrubs over the years, you deserve to get in some extra flights.

Yes the Hanna is a great friend and good photographer.

Best!

Looks like you had a nice day out there.

Unfortunately I had already made plans for a small family gathering by the time the "bonus" launch was announced.

Only 20 cars would have been a very small launch indeed. Minimal wait times for a pad, I imagine.

Nice flights, too. Great pictures, as usual.

Wait times were nonexistent. There was a lot of down time between launches. They only set up one mid and one high power racks, and neither were filled at one time. It was the slowest launch I've ever attended.

I finally got the videos edited and uploaded. The saucer isn't mine, I just happened to get a video of it.

I started uploading my album, I wasn't really ready when the Bullpup XL flight was announced so I was in a bad spot and only got the up part, but I got the entire Bloodsucker flight. Not sure if these direct-page links will work for anyone other than me, the whole-album link should work at least.

Here was a shot of the parking area at 12:37pm, a few people had already left but not many. Very light turn-out which made things more relaxed than usual. :)

The links aren't working for me, either.

Edit: I take that back. The first link works.

Oh, well. Now I know that direct-linking to album pages doesn't work. :p There were things I liked about Google's albums better than Facebook's, but most of them seem to be going away as they 'improve' their site. :p
