A while back there was a thread on this big honking 12" motor

I have found the perfect airframe...

Now all I need is money....lots.
 
actually, the 36,000 dollar motor was an S class. muhahahaha, like the mercedes. is that birdie 12 feet tall? because thats how tall the motor is. also, if thats bounce recovery, i dont want to be underneath that puppy when its coming in. lol. it would be quite impressive though.

Aluminum, fiberglass-reinforced plastic and paint
19' 2 1/2" x 15' 11 3/4 " (h x diam)

Each shuttlecock weighs between 4,500 and 5,000 pounds and is attached to an underground concrete foundation weighing 16,000 pounds.

Methinks the "S" motor will do nicely...we can always cluster if need be.
