I had emailed about a Mars lander kit a few months back and never got a response. I assumed he stopped selling them completely

Do you mean the kits? Or the decal sets? I only see the decal sets on the website. It’d be great if the kits were available.

I got really excited for a moment thinking finally someone has 2x kits.

I did get a little excited there for a minute.

I don’t think the new company is going to be making the kits. I should have bought the 1.6x when it was available on the old website. But at the time I was new to the hobby and didn’t think I had the skill to build it.

I was hoping with all of the 3D printing that is being done now, that someone would come out with some upscale Mars Lander kits.
