Got it!I would say they are small nylon para-sheets with cutouts to make them spin, well made and bridled with swivel included...

Yes, I saw your post about the sale, so I went for the 18" and 24" Nomex blankets and swivels.Received my chute liners from Fruity Chutes this morning along with a couple of Rosco swivels.
Purchases were part of a sale to celebrate the completion of the FC site upgrade.
I picked up a TARDIS a few years back. Still trying to decide if I want to build it to fly or display on my work desk.Tardis are out for delivery today.
Why not both?I picked up a TARDIS a few years back. Still trying to decide if I want to build it to fly or display on my work desk.
I make spike strips out of dowels and pine boards.Went to grab one of my 29mm rocket stands to ease painting of my Bomarc. That's when I realized I have ample 13, 18 and 24mm stands, and even a nice plywood 38mm, but zero 29mm. I look at my collection, along with the build pile, and it becomes clear that it would not hurt to have one or two or many 29mm stands. Pleased with the quality of Qualman's fin guides, I decided to try their stands, bonus is they are the least expensive out there, coming two to a set. Three sets ordered. I have Apogee stands in the other sizes, and I really do like them, so I am eager to see how these measure up.
I have certainly thought about doing something very similar, but then it wouldn't be an appropriate post for a Support Our Hobby thread, maybe..? I suppose Home Depot and Lowe's are part of our hobby, I certainly buy a lot of supplies there but I'm not sure they are in danger of going out of business due to COVID-19.I make spike strips out of dowels and pine boards.
Choose the dowel diameters to fit your motor tubes, bearing in mind that a 38mm will fit on 29mm stands and 54mm will fit on 38mm stands so you have a lot of flexibility there.
Home Depot or Lowe’s has everything you need. It’s helpful if you have a small drill press and some Forstner bits to hog out the holes for the dowels.

This has enough weight to not tip over at the slightest bump.
OMG...I have become Micromeister...
I’m looking for a long streamer for my ”Mile High” bird.
Saw something on RocketMan that I like. Long (15’), packs small (fits in a BT60 tube), bright color with black contrast, and reasonably priced.
