I have just finished final prep of my BT-80 based Super Screamer upscale. It is based on the old BT-5 Mini Brute. The rocket sports a Q Modeling nosecone, and sims to 1000' with an F21-6.

I am about ready to head out to our local club launch, so hopefully I will have a launch photo tonight!!

Very cool Fred....

I may have to build me one of those. Very tough looking with those big fins.

How did you score the Qmodeling nose cone? Do they sell those individually?

John

Thanks!! I am very happy with this one.

I bought some Q Modeling cones direct. Just send them an email asking for the Nike X cone.

I did launch the sucker today on an F21-6. It was just beautiful!!

Here is a pic of the rocket onthe pad just before liftoff:

The rocket flew to about 1000' and deployed beautifully!! It landed about 75 yards from the launch pad.

You do some fine work Sir. Nice job on the upscale of a classic. Glad to hear the launch was successful!

Great looking bird Astron. Those F21's are still my favorite 24mm motor.
