Little late in the game, and certainly no competition for the Praxis Probe, but figured I would throw it in here.
Atypical Deployments being my game, figured I'd go with the lowest budget rocket route.
This is made of paint sticks I got free from Home Depot.PntSwrlFlossReinforce.jpgPntSwrlHoles.jpgPntSwrlFls2.jpgPntSwrlFloss1.jpgPntSwrlOutrTape.jpgPntSwrlGdBk3.jpgPntSwrlGdBk2.jpgPntSwrlGdBack1.jpgPntSwrlGuide1.jpg

Cutting the guide into the rotor fin makes it a sure thing you get the Rotor Stop/Band Displacer on straight.
Put a piece of balsa behind it (grain horizontal, so doesn't break through) provides a backing and extra adhesion surface area.
My reinforced duct tape hinges have been seen on prior posts. HOWEVER, I thought would be cool to try green color. BAAAAAD idea :bang::bang::bang: Not that green is a bad color, just that the colored tape is really then and doesn't hold worth beans.

You can see where I drill holes in the corners once the fins are assembled, to add for floss to CA the whole shebang together.

You can see where I added balsa fillets (bulkheads?) to both guide the attachment of the four rotor fins into a single hub as well as provide more surface area for adhesion.

The usual pad shots.

Will open in Chrome to add videos, for some reason copy and paste don't work on explorer/edge anymore.

Like I said, had hinge failures, but at least it flew.
