When I built this subassembly for a different rocket (post later), I found I
had gotten the proportions wrong. I just couldn't throw it away. Add some
fins, motor mount, nose, and it's a whole new rocket.

13 mm motor mount
bt 55
bt 55 to bt 60 shroud
bt 60
bt 60 to bt 50 shroud
internal bt 50

I think it looks good.

A different view

Streamer recovery, but there is room for a chute.

It has a kind of U.F.O. Interceptor look to it.

Yeah, it does. Paint a cockpit on it and it'll be even closer.

Great job!

That is a really really cute little rocket!!

My only concerns woud be:
That it's short.. Your CG & CP might be too close, or that the CG is behind the CP..

The "off to one side" nose cone placement. It might cause the rocket to deviate; that the slope of the nose might cause it to veer off course / introduce a slight 'angle of attack'

Yep, I thought of that. The motor is also off set. I just hope I off set it enough
to counter act the slope.

Very cool!
I know what kit that subassembly is from. ;)

Nope, no kit. :D I've just had requests to show how I've built one of my
scratches, so I had to build it again, to document it.
