Did the booster in essence stabilize dragging the upper airframe behind it, and then no main?
We seem to have some confusing between “Sticking the Landing” (which IMO means the body of the rocket is at or near vertical with the forward section pointing UP), and other forms of landing which generally fall (literally) under two categories, Lawn Darting and Core Sampling.

Yeah, the Gates boys going away definitely cut down on the "what is this going to do" factor. Made some epic flights.Dangit Jim! Was gonna add that very video to the thread.....you beat me to it. I too spent a lot of time watching Gates Bros videos back in the day.
