Stuart Margolin, an actor most recognized for roles such as "Angel" from the Rockford Files has passed away at 82.




I most remember him from the Saturday nights spent with my mom and sister (dad was stationed overseas at the time) watching the Rockford files and our prep (popcorn, sodas) as we got ready for the phone to ring...



And as Pvt. Little John in Kelly's Heroes.

Stuart Margolin directed several of the Rockford files episodes and other series. Also, a songwriter. Awesome character actor. Watch him as Philo Sandeen on the Bret Maverick series!
