I’ve done several cardstock transitions where I’ve filled the interior with expanding foam. Mostly, I’ve been happy, but my Gemini ‘trunk’ has picked up some dings.
I’m planning another such transition for the nosecone of my 3” Ute booster. I’d like to make the foam denser. I don’t have handy access to fancy epoxy fillers - are there simple things I can do to increase the density (and hardness/strength) of two-part foam? Mix in regular epoxy? Fine sand?
