Whats the largest rocket you could use with a streamer:confused:

I've seen 6-inchers come down on streamers... granted, they were BIG streamers...

so that must have been a large rocket then,did it land very fast?

I have plans to use a 3" streamer for a drogue on the upscale Tres...4+ pound 3" rocket.

It came down slow enough to not suffer any damage... I can't give you a speed in fps or anything.

So that will be a 30 inch long and 3 inch wide streamer,how long is your tres going to be?

Arthur,

The length of the Tres Sustainer is 56" long and it weighs around 4 pounds. I planned on using a Skyangle 3" streamer for a drogue as that bay is rather cramped. I will, however, still have a main open around 700' or so...that is if I can get it done in time.
