There was a discussion about this club on the Old Rockets Yahoo group a few days ago. The only real info I could get out of it is that they have about 22 members 'worldwide' and have some sort of sanctioned launches.

It costs nothing to join and they have some kind of email newsletter.

That's really all I know.

They put a link to my website in their newsletter without me asking. So they're A-OK in my book.

You're right though, I researched them a little when they were asking for information about our website. Seems to be one guy in charge and a few members scattered all over the country.

He, or they, seem to enjoy calling each other "commander this" and "starlord that". Seems just a liiiiiiitle bit weird.

If they ask you for your quantum transfunctioner, don't give it to them!

I have this vision of them dressed at their meetings in uniforms like those old cheesy red velour Star Trek ones -- the ones with the puffy Shakespearean collars ...
