My 5-year old has been on a big rockets kick the past month. We built & launched her first kit a few weeks ago, have been watching videos, etc.. So we were bummed that snow canceled the February launch meet of the local NAR section that we were looking forward to attending. But we regrouped and instead built this alternate-weather rocket, which I thought people here might enjoy.

I like it!

I don't it would comply to safety regs, but I could very well see a low-powered model rocket on either side to act as "boosters". Would make a nice photo at ignition anyway! (maybe with a dummy or doll instead of a real person at the seat).

Just wait until you witness those first high power launches..........my son and I got our L1 certs in June last year, while bored to tears on lockdowns. It's rather addicting.
