I got these the other day, vertical stab composite from SR-71 617967, titanium skin from 617964, and some trailing edge and bracket titanium from SR-71B 617957 most likely....I had to quick go out and fly my fleet.View attachment 570069View attachment 570068View attachment 570065View attachment 570066View attachment 570064View attachment 570067View attachment 570062View attachment 570063View attachment 570059View attachment 570061View attachment 570060
awesome fleet!!

How did you happen to find the swag? Great looking RG's.
There are a couple of sources, Plane Tags and Jet Eyes are the two that offered SR-71 stuff, all sold out right now, but they carry some other neat aircraft goodies...

Here's my latest RC SR-71 I worked with Mark at sticker shock to do the special subdued red tail markings which was the final version used on some operational aircraft. I did one side honoring 971 the one at evergreen and the other side 967 that I have a piece of the vertical stabilizer composite material.

Wow, 15 minutes is a long glide time! I've got this model put together, but haven't painted it, yet. We had another snow storm here today. Your launch field is pretty nice. So, that take-off looks pretty fast. Is that a single-use motor?

A minute 15 as in 1:15. That's a slow takeoff using standard E-6 reload

Super cool!

My wife collects plane tags and recently splurged on the SR-71 tag. It's pretty neat. Hers has a crazy proprietary fastener in it.
