Some of us have to deal with winter in all it's glory so naturally march is a time to long for warmer days. When they come I like to vacation in Jasper so heres a photo to show you why :) I would encourage others to post photos of their favourite vacation spots in the sun as it were :)

Glad to hear spring is on the way for your Fred;) I can't imagine being holed up for as long as you folks have to up north.

I spend most of my vacations on Chincoteague Island, VA. a couple miles from Wallops Island. The better 2/3rds and I set up the mobile Micro Lab on the screened porch of the Trailer and I build models, eat crabs and other seafood, have a few brews, play some guitar and swim in the ocean... It's about as kicked back as I can find.

Sounds like the rocketry version of Jimmy Buffett!

Fred, on my "local" Canadian (Sarnia, Ontario) news station the other night, one of the newscasters comment of the sure sign of spring in Canada.

"When the mound of snow next to your driveway has melted low enough for you to see your neighbor.":D

My last year in Anchorage the snow started on 1 September and our last snowfall was 15 April (tax day down here). In mid-May came "breakup" which translates into a slush fest for three weeks while it all melts. After that summer never looked so good.

Spring is here, but as you can see so is the snow!

I took this in Yakutat AK last week during some ground time.

To give you some perspective, the building behind it is large hanger. About 40 ft tall.

As for summer vacations, we like Hampton beach New Hampshire. You have to like 55 deg water!

Heck, that's cool enough to dip a few brews into!

Spring has done sprung down here - mowed the yards already, it's been up to 85 a few days, and the most positive sign of spring is that they're beginning to talk about tornado boxes and thunderstorm warnings!
