Sports Illustrated's latest cover story is about a high school football coach murdered last week. This school is in a town not too far from me and one where my wife used to work. She knew Ed Thomas and I'd met him a time or two. This guy truly was a good man.

I don't subscribe to SI and tried to purchase a copy locally today. They're sold out everywhere around here. If anyone has a copy they're just gonna throw away I'd like to have it.
