SPOILER Tag

I'm trying to post a spoiler using the spoiler tag function, but it doesn't seem to be working properly. It's leaving a blank with no spoilered text.

Here's a test:

See? There's nothing there . But I used the spoiler function up in the editing ribbon., which gave me this:

SPOILER="TEST TEST TEST - CAN YOU SEE THIS?"][/SPOILER

I removed the opening "[" before the first "SPOILER" and final "]" after the last "SPOILER" so you can see what's written.

Is the syntax wrong?

Okay, I figured it out. The text you write in the comment box brought up by the spoiler button only gives you a title. Then you put the spoiler in between the tags. I'm a dummy.

This is where the spoiler text goes.

Not a dummy. Just lacking knowledge in the first post. I'm glad you figured it out.
