Spaceport Rocketry 6/19 launch (Central Florida)

ATTN: Rocketeers in Central Florida

Spaceport Rockery Association (SRA) in Palm Bay, FL is holding their monthly launch this Saturday, June 19th from 11:00a-4:00p. The launch site is about a 20-30 minute drive SW of Melbourne. You can find out more information on the SRA website.

We will have 2 vendors onsite: Dennis Welch from New Horizons Hobbies (motors, motors, motors! ) & another vendor (I don't have a name yet) that sells various LPR & MPR kits.

NOTE: You will not find directions to the launch site on the website. (Per our agreement with the landowner we are unable to publicly post the location.) Please PM or email me for driving directions.

My son and I would like to publicly thank Lance and all the SRA
folks for the wonderful hospitality!

Despite getting a late start out of Orlando, we still managed
to get in several flights including my BARnone (see the thread
in Scratch Built), Estes BullPup and Duece's Wild. Sorry- no pix
Note to self- invest in a good digital camera for your birthday.

If you are ever in FLorida and get a chance to fly with
these guys (& gals), I highly recommend it!
