My 16-year-old cat was having some issues. Vet did bloodwork. Just got the results; looks like it's nothing serious. She is currently trying to decide which is the best sunbeam to flop in.

Wow, that's a ripe old age. I'm not a cat person, but I know what good news feels like! Glad to hear it.

Great news on your puss.

I'm allergic, and so's my wife. Ain't gonna happen.
Try a Sphynx. I am allergic to cats and I have a Sphynx (hairless) and a Devon Rex. I have no reaction to the Sphynx at all. As a bonus they are Personality+ :)

Our oldest right now is 17. He is showing his age as he has gotten scrawny and doesn't groom himself well, but he seems OK except for a thyroid problem. We had one get to 22 before her kidneys failed. Kidney failure is a big problem for older cats, we've had a number that we had to give IV fluids to. Glad to hear yours is doing well.
